“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.”
– BKS Iyengar
“During the season of growth and transformation, inspired by Mother Earth’s beauty and pace, we will gather in charming Taos, NM to immerse ourselves in centering yoga practices and to ground our energy with nourishing food, conversation, and company. Step away from your daily routine and deepen your connection to what brings you joy, purpose, peace, and contentment. We have curated this four day three night yoga retreat to leave you rested, rejuvenated, and inspired.
We would love for you to be part of it!”

LISA WALKER
Lisa is a certified yoga instructor, nutrition therapist master, and meditation guide. After a successful career in the energy sector, she found working with the energy of the body, mind, and spirit was more fulfilling. Completing a 200 hr teacher training, she became passionate about yoga that promoted slowing down, breathing, and healing. Offering yoga not only to strengthen the body, but to quiet the mind and empower healthier aging through reducing stress and improving mobility. Her students appreciate her individualized approach, sense of humor, and ability to create ease around a practice that sometimes feels challenging. Utilizing yoga philosophy, nature’s elements, the moon phases, and a peppering of astrology, Lisa brings not only well-crafted classes, but food for thought so each public class or private session begins with intention.
SHARON WAHLFELD
Sharon is motivated by the belief that yoga is for EVERYONE – all bodies, stages of life, beginners, and advanced practitioners. Since 2008, she has been teaching group Hatha Yoga classes and private sessions. Over time she has become certified to also teach Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Always a student, she endeavors to embody and share the ancient teachings of yoga and how they support us in living our best life as we negotiate the challenges and inevitable stress of our modern world. In her classes she encourages slowing down the body and mind in order to increase awareness and body-mind wellbeing. Expect to breathe deeply, move mindfully, and to cultivate presence by linking movement to breath.
Inspired by her students and her teachers, Sharon is abundantly grateful for the practice of yoga and the opportunity to teach.

While there, we will practice yoga in a spacious, well ventilated room stocked with yoga props and flooded with natural light. The tranquil grounds in the foothills of Kit Carson National Forest offer a meditative peace path, labyrinth, fire pit, hot tub, and loads of outdoor seating all surrounded by mature trees and mountain views. Enjoy the fresh air, observe wildlife, watch a sunset, read a book, or relax with friends in your downtime.
The lodge offers a variety of room sizes, features, and configurations ranging from $159 to $225 per room per night (plus lodging tax). “Lodge rooms” are within the historic lodge where we will meet for yoga and meals. “Motel rooms” are accessed from outside the main lodge – a very short distance from the lodge entrance.
We respect your privacy. Rest assured that we will never share or sell your personal information.
